just was over on easports.com and saw this as an upcoming release. no other info was available though. apparently it's just supposed to be an entire game run from behind the desk...sounds pretty good. anyone ever heard of this?

Can't you do this with Madden basically? All you have to do is call the plays and select the cpu to to control your offense.

I respect EA for trying new things, ala NCAA Baseball, but to me this seems like a waste of money from a consumer standpoint.

well i would have to imagine there are at least some major differences between madden coach mode and this game :-?

i can't seem to find much if any info though. barnes and nobles has the game listed to release april 3rd...that's about it :-°

You would think if it's out in just over a month and a half there would be info on it.

April 3rd is a weird time to release a football game.

I'll look into this.

I know EA is coming out with an Arena Football game.

You can use Madden as a sim but it doesn't do a very good job of it. Of course it shines in the PvP aspect. I hadn't heard of this but a good football sim would be cool. Will check it out.

It's definately interesting.

I just don't see the masses buying this game. Madden has such a huge cult following that I find it hard for a lot of their gamers to buy this as well.

Most people who play sports games want to be in control of the action.

I guess they're trying some new things with NCAA Baseball, Arena Football, and this. I won't be going near it, but the other two seem like something to check out (as long as they're backward compatible for 360).
