I have Bernie on the DL and apparently he could be back within a few weeks. Before he got hurt he was playing like one of thr top 10 hitters in the league and an all star, in fact at one point in late April Yahoo had him ranked #1 overall. My question is when he comes back will he be good or will he end up with a bad year because of the injury.

The good news is that it's a knee injury so it probably won't have a huge effect on him at the plate like a shoulder or elbow injury could. I would expect him to slump a bit for a couple of weeks as he shakes off the rust when he comes back. After that, he should be a solid top 20 outfielder. He was playing over his head the first few weeks of the season and is nothing close to a first round level player so don't expect that but in the Yankees lineup he should be able to put up 60-70 RBIs the rest of the way in his sleep, and will hit around .300.
