I have nothing against magazines and I buy them for football all the time. Howver since I bought the Shandler's Baseball Forecaster I don't buy anymore magazines since it is voluminous enough to provide plenty of reading material and since it cost so much I don't want to spend any more cash on mags.
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.
The funny thing about TSN this year is that it's entirely obvious that they had one team doing the projections and John Benson giving his projected dollar values, so neither is based on each other.
As an example, check out the NL outfielders around $10. They've got Kelly Johnson with a .255/10/50/50/8 or so statline for $11 in value, when the people at $10 have statlines like .272/14/62/70/10.
I hope my opponents use this magazine in my auction.
Just got Lindy's last night. I used it to guage my opponents and as a draft day reference last year. Useful, but don't even try and figure out how they rank guys by position.
Has anyone seen or heard when Roto Times will be hitting newsstands? This is the one i like best as far as magazines go.
So far i have scored TSN and The Fantasy Baseball Guide 2006, both of which are somewhat contradictory in nature, But literature is literature. If any one knows about Roto Times let me know Thanks.
