The endless moronic behavior from D-Rays HQ. Why in the world would we add him? Please, just send us some pitching for crying out loud!!!

A character type utility player, I will take him. I don't think I have ever heard anything negative about Wiggington as far as character or clubhouse and when you factor he can play 2 or 3 infield positions, I think it is a solid signing. Not a great signing that will give us 81 wins this year, but a solid signing that will allow our infielders a day off here and there.

Agreed. He may be good, but I thought we just got Burroughs to do the same thing. I am just frustrated that we have all this talent on offense (tradeable talent) and no pitching. When we sign some pitchers I will be happy.

I think the pitchers signing may come as early as next year.

I like Wiggenton better than Burroughs. Ty could hit 15- 20 hr's if he played the whole year. Much better than Burroughs could do.
He's not bad in the field either, and he can play 3b, 2b, and 1st base. Maybe he'll win the starting job in spring training, but they'll probably use him as a utility player.

I too like Wiggy more than Burroughs. Pitchers park or not (as an excuse), I just can't see Burroughs hitting 10 HR in a full season and you need more power from a CI position.

Anyway, Ty is a good utility signing. You need people who can handle multiple IF positions, and from what I've read, he's a good person and should help with a young clubhouse.
