Best Set up Man???

Anyone have rankings of the best set up man ( holds) in the MLB.

when thinkinf of best set up men u have to have linebrink either 1 or 2 otheres are salomon torres. sorry i cant provide a list tho.

S. Shields is an all-around monster. He probably won't get you quite as many holds as others, but he'll get you more W's and K's, and a great ERA and WHIP to boot. I also like Rincon.

I like Shields too. Middle relievers and set up men are not valued by most in my league. I scooped one of two up for vulture wins and to help with WHIP and ERA. Shields puts up good K numbers too.

Sheilds was great last season. Crain also had 12 wins but seemed to tail off later in the season.

Shields was awesome for the first half...he tailed off near the end a bit though. I wonder if he had a case of overuse. Still, I'd take him any day in a holds league.

Linebrink's another guy who is really good in setup.

Torres...can't complain there either. He normally gets the job done for the Pirates only to allow the closer to blow it.

Qualls turned out pretty good last year also. I don't know how well the Astros will do this year with Clemens gone, but he may still put up numbers in a weaker division. Howry's another guy to watch out for next year since Cleveland has a good chance of improving.
