wow i cant believe how well berkman is playing this season. he is definetly doin it for my team this year,as well as A rod. im suprised you guys ranked him 33rd- he should be in the top 20 atleast!

I love Berkman - I think he'll be receiving plenty of mvp votes in the not too distant future. He has the tools, he's in a great setting... he'll be very special.

While no rankings are perfect and I won't even begin to pretend that ours are, I think 33rd was actually a pretty reasonable preseason estimate and still holds true. The reasons for this ranking were twofold: first, we factored in positional scarcity to a certain extent, and of - especially NL of - is the deepest position there is. Second, Berkman tailed off dramatically in the second half last year, which had us a bit worried.
