BEST site to host a league ???

Postby j'diggity » Sun Jan 08, 2006 6:38 pm

Is there a site that supports player SALARIES and CONTRACTS?

Last year we used TQStats... serviceable but hardly a great site.

I've played at CNNSI and Rotowire but neither was worth a second season, IMO.

And I've looked at CBSSportsline, SportingNews, Sandbox... none offers salaries and contracts.

ANY SUGGESTIONS? PLEASE!

Thanks!

I have used CBS for the past 4 years and think it is great! The only downfall is it costs you some cash. It depends on what your looking for though. Like I said I really like the product CBS puts out. Never really had any problems.

CBS does offer salaries and contracts. The only catch is you have to buy the commissioner package and that costs about $130. I have never used these options but I know for a fact they are availabe.

:-B Oh, wow... really! I looked at CBS's Commissioner option last spring and I could've sworn that they didn't offer either salaries or contracts (if not both).

Can anyone else confirm this about CBS?

Cbs does offer salaries and contracts. They are considered the wild card fields they offer. You will have to enter them all manually

allstar = great if you feel like paying $45 / team

otherwise, i vote for cbs. we used it for salaries last year. goes in a custom field that you (da commish) will have to enter.
it does not have FAAB, so we defaulted each free agent to std salary and used waivers.

interface is pretty easy to use (esp compared to tq).

everyone loves free, so if you can convince yahoo to include the features that allstar/cbs has, i am all over it.
