Should I pitch Clemens tomorrow against Tampa Bay?

Should I pitch Batista against Houston?

Should I pitch Mulder against Texas?

Should I pitch Mussina against Tampa Bay?

Should I pitch Wakefield against Detroit?

Should I pitch Maddux against Philly?

The Rocket, Moose and Wake are definates. After that, I would start Bautista against Houston. In his last 3 he has 2-0 record with a 1.23 ERA. And at home he is 3-2 with a 2.56. My only thing about starting Mulder is his pitching match-up. Ramos is only in his second start. Mulder has a 4.05 over his last three and a 4.56 on the road. The Rangers can put up a lot of numbers when they are on. Personally, I would not start Maddux against Wolf. Wolf has been the better pitcher thru the course of the season and either offense can put up huge numbers on any given night againts any pitcher.

Mulder, Mussina, Clemens and Maddux are guys I would start every time out except Coors Field starts. They all play on good teams, so have a great chance at a win even if they don't pitch great, and their season stats overall will help your team, so you should just automatically start them.

Wakefield and Batista are more marginal pitchers. Wakefield's knuckleball makes him prone to inconsistency but I wouldn't bench anyone borderline established against the Tigers at this point. Batista has been very hot lately so I'd ride him while he's hot. He shut down the same Astros team last week in Houston, and this game is at home vs a team that probably won't have Jeff Kent.

Start all six.

I would be questioning Mulder vs. Texas
