Eduardo Perez and the Indians have reportedly agreed on a one-year deal with an option for 2007.

Bad news for Ryan Garko fans, but if Ben Broussard struggles against righties, Garko still might get his chance before the end of the year. Perez should only be used against lefties.

I've been a Perez fan since his days in STL. He's not a great player but he's got good power and I think the platoon with Broussard will be great for him.
