Halladay the man to beat for the Cy Young?

I knew at the beginning of the season he was much better than his numbers indicated, but now is he as good as his numbers are indicating???

Pitching on 3 days rest for the first time ever he 3 hits the Expos for 8, and allows 2 unearned runs for his 11th straight win. Once again, he did not awalk a batter. He walks a guy like once every 3 games.

If he doesn't get used up (I don't think he will, he's a horse) he's gotta get huge votes for Cy Young.

I think Halladay is untochable right now and is going to continue to have a great year. But lets not forget about a guy named Zito who is very quietly having a good year but has yet to really turn it on. I think at some point wtihin the next month Zito will begin a Roy Halladay tare much like he did last year. Zito 7-5 with an era under 3.0 right now but then again if he had Toronto's run support a 3.0 era what make his record mch different. All he needs is for the A's ofense to get going like it usually does in the hot months and we will have a Cy Young Race.

For the Cy Young race the season has not even started!!! I don't know if Roy, or the Blue Jays, can keep this up. and based on the last few years of the award, it usually gets decided on how pitchers finish... ie - Pedro last year.
