Largest Single Player Collection????

I was wondering what the largest number of cards of a single player that you have.

I have 465 Don Mattingly's. He is my all time fave.

I am sure there are collectors out there with huge collections.

If I bothered to count all my Barry Sanders cards, it would take forever. Seriously, 1000 (including doubles) is not out of the realm of possibility

I've got roughly 2,000 Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez cards, stickers, magnets, etc. :-)

Maybe I'll get them out and count them sometime. That's an interesting question. :-)

Including doubles, I had a Will Clark collection that I would estimate to be in the four card range (would fit in 1/2 a standard box). But I've since made an effort to sell some of the doubles and maintain the collection with only one copy of each card.

And with the number of years he's played, I probably inadvertently have a large Julio Franco collection. :-b

In the case of Belle, that would be a ton of Albert's most recent cards. I had quite a few "Joey" Belle's back in the day.

Now to see who's been collecting for awhile. B-)

I have a good amount of Chavez and Jeter cards that I've collected over time, but nowhere near the amount that some of you guys have of other guys.
