i think this is a neat idea, see how your teams and plans stack up to the "experts." Also this seams fast, you could do it any time your online.
i'm gonna go try it.

I actually perfer this way of doing mocks over the time consuming original way!
Oh nice job, J35J - now nobody in here will ever want to do any more mocks!

I just accidently did a draft from experts going into the '05 season.
My team was pretty good.

Been doing it for a couple of years. It gives me a good idea what guys I need to pick a round earlier than expected or have time to wait on for a round or two. One problem is that my league uses holds, so most mocks use standard 5x5 and don't help me with that. And, inevitably, there's an unpredictable run in some category in a real draft.

Another way you can do this is mocking using the live draft results from a fantasy site. Just like combined player rankings here on the Cafe, the live draft results give you the collective assessment of tens of thousands of fantasy players, both good and bad. Since the typical fantasy player may have different views than the expert drafter and since these are updated all through Spring Training (given the most recent assessment, rather than some experts view in January), they can offer a good "mock" Mock Draft.

Do you know if there are any mock auctions?
More specific: 12 to 13 team NL only $260 23 players 13 b, 9 p & 1 SU
Jason, do you thing your signature is also true when it comes to fantasy?
