I am big on Elijah Dukes. The guy is an amazing athlete, he is young but looks like a pro linebacker. He is extremely fast. I saw him play a lot in Double A. I would go with him. With a little polish, he could be a true 5 tool guy.

Personally I like Herrera most of the lot.
I also wouldn't complain about Moss, Dukes, or Bankston.

I'd go with David Purcey - he out together a nice season between Dunedin and New Hampshire, with 161 K in 137.3 innings, and a good ERA. His only issue is control, and that's one area where pitchers normally improve a lot as they mature.

But I do like Herrera and Bankston, so you couldn't go wrong there, either.

When do you see Elijah Dukes getting time in bigs?

I like him the best of the list.

Go w/ Elijah Dukes. Only problem w/ him is one of attitude, which is not unlike Milton Bradley -- in fact, he seems to be a whole lot like Bradley in just about everyway although no injury problems thus far (and he's probably a smarter guy who has better shot of overcoming the attitude problem too).

As for when he makes it to the bigs is anybody's guess given Tampa's situation. Maybe the new regime will get him up much sooner than otherwise. Certainly would help if/when Tampa does trade Gathright away (along w/ some other OF bat). If they pull some deals this spring or by midseason, I guess Dukes could conceivably get a taste in Sept -- just don't count on it though.
Just another amateur learning to paint w/ "the light of the world".

I like several guys off that list--Dukes, Purcey, Bankston, Herrera, and Moss. If I had to pick one guy for my keeper team, I think I would lean towards Bankston due to the fact that it seems 1b is all his in 2007 for the Devil Rays. Dukes and Herrera have some talent up ahead of them right now and Purcey, even though he pitched well last year, I still want to see him do it again before I annoint him a top prospect.
