Am I the only one who has faith in Jose Cruz Jr?

I drafted him late, and he delivered earlier, and I tried to move him, but nobody in my league likes to trade, so I have sat him on my bench for the past month, yet find it difficult to let him go. Is anyone else struggling with this decision?

I'm looking to pick up either G. Myers, J. Guillen, M. Batista, or F. Cordero

Any thoughts?

i refuse to cut cruz jr. also... but that's because there's no one to pick up in my league...

i might look at batista if i were you.... he's in like the top 5 in era i think.

I drafted him late as well and am holding on to him. I doubt his production will pick up but in the league I am in we use lf, cf, rf, and no of so he qualifies at all those posistions in yahoo so I keep him to fill in on off days for regulars.

Thanks for the comments. I just dropped Politte, and picked up foppert for tomorrow cause I need some K's, and then will pick up Batista on Monday.

People don't like Cruz b/c of his past, which is good reason not to, he is just not that good of a player.

as for me... well, he's like that 30/30 guy who i drafted for two years hoping that he'd get it together... he never seems to. inconsistent. to quote the oracle in the matrix "you've got the gift kid, but it seems like you're waiting for something"

as for me... welp, i'm rueing the fact that i didn tknow carlos beltran was going to be this sweet this season... but when you're a top 10 deaft pick, ugh, sometimes you miss and nab vlad =/

Never had faith in him. I got in as my #3 OF this year....he was probably the best OF in April -- then I dealt him and Derrek Lee (and his 11 steals at that time) with Lofton for Maddux, B.Myers and Casey.

Needless to say, Cruz has been HORRIBLE since. Lee's got only 2-3 steals since and Lofton had a big hit-streak in May (which I coulda used).

I refuse to even consider Cruz on any of my teams. The guy has had the potential for a long time. He hasn't figured it out yet and I'm not sure he ever will. I'd play short 1 man rather than have him drag down my stats.
