Whats the best site to manage my league on?

Postby asmizzou21 » Mon Dec 26, 2005 12:27 am

Right now I run my free keeper league through yahoo. It has worked out good so far but I see all of these other sites that offer you to run your league for a certain amount of money. I dont know how good these other providers are because I've only played fantasy sports through yahoo. Is it worth paying some big bucks and running my league through a paid site or should I just stick to yahoo? Also what sites would you recomend?

Thanks

Personally, I'm all for Yahoo.

same here. nothing beats the simple and easy to use interface. all u need to need to do invest a little time and have a spreadsheet ready to record teams and it's simple after that.

Yeah I already have a website that we use during the offseason with all of the rosters on there so thats not a problem. I just didnt know if it was worth it during the season or not.

Yahoo is great for draft leagues. And being free it is above all others. But for and auction league we use CBS Sportsline and it has been great the last 5 years. It allows you to see the players salary, very helpful in trades. It costs about $12 per player in our league, so it isn't outrageous, and the site is great.

I'd vote for CBS above Yahoo.

Well if my league does an offline draft and no salaries needed, do you think yahoo would be the best choice? Or is CBS the best no matter what?

I'll take Yahoo any day of the week; twice on Sunday, over CBS. My league drafts off-line, and handle our entire off-season through Proboards.com . Yahoo is the king of free fantasy servers, and even if CBS was free, I'd prefer Yahoo!

Speaking of which. Has anyone heard a thing about TQSTATS and their lawsuit?? Will they do leagues in 2006?

I still like Sportsline better, but it isn't $129(for the league) better. If you don't need salaries then Yahoo is the way to go.
