Last I heard the rumor mill said there was a possibility that he could head with Prior and Rich Hill to the O's for Tejada and Bedard. Angelos has to sign off on it though and he doesn't like players with injury histories and therefore might not like Prior as the centerpiece of the deal.

He will be a throw in to some deal, somewhere. I don't think there is any way he stays w the Cubs. He'd be a 4th OF who gets booed everytime he comes to the plate to PH-- why put a guy or a team through that?

I seem to remember Jacque Jones signing for 15 over 3...
Anyways, I still support Patterson to be the starting RF for the Cubs. He's just been misused as a leadoff hitter. If he goes back to hitting in the 6 or 7 hole, I think he'll pick up where he left off in '04 and hopefully get back on the track to improvement.
