How is St. Louis not on that list, too? I'm certainly not pumped about our FA crop this year.

Glad that a real fan agrees with my post. If I were a Red Birds fan, I wouldn't be too thrilled with Ponson, Spivey, and Encarnacion as my bragging pieces for the 05-06 off-season, to date.

I voted for the Marlins, but I think that I should have voted for the BoSox. I suppose the big difference is that the Red Sox are actually trying to win this year, so that makes them bigger losers.

I would vote for the Nationals.

Since the Marlins intent is to sell everyone and reduce payroll, I can't see how you can argue that they lost/had a bad off-season. Stupid, lame sure, but losing implies not being able to achieve one's objective here. They have achieved their objective with stunning results.

I know the post says so far,

but I'll bet you my just received peanut butter holiday cookies that Boston will fine cvome March, in center (Crisp, Reed or Wilson) Cora at SS and Youkalis and perhaps Snow as a late inning replacement at 1st.

If I were a Yankee fan I would be concerned with there starting pitching depth.

I'd say at the moment it would be the Red Sox, but knowing them, that could change within days.

The Marlins atleast succeeded in what they were trying to do.
