Don't agree with this post. How much support do you think Sanders and Walker offered the Cardinals last year? Sanders scored 49 Runs and drove in 56 for the Redbirds last year. Also, Encarnacion and Sanders OBP are relatively similar, so it's pretty much a sideways move.
The postseason is too small a sample to use as evidence IMO. These signings pretty much complete the Cardinal team, with hopefully F. Rodriguez joining as well. If Rodriguez is signed (or even if he isn't_, Cardinals will be the favorites again to win the Central.
