is anyone else curious to what the astros are planning to do...there have been numerous rumors as to trades for the likes of Abreu, Dunn as well as Tejada. I'm dying to see them make some sort of move and the signings of Kevin Orie and Danny Klassen don't count. :-o

What the Astro's ownership might be thinking- "Hmm.. who needs Lidge? Uh, the Braves do.. Ok! They gave a top 5 prospect for Renteria maybe we'll get 2 or 3 top prospects for Lidge! Great! Let's call em' now and get our gifts in time for the holidays! Ho Ho ho.. "

No way in hell.

Plus, I think the Astros want immediate impact players, not prospects.

If JS trades Salty for Lidge ... I'm going to go insane.

I think the Stro's should be actively shopping Lidge, as they've got 2 more power arms in the wings. They are very good at producing closers, so why not just ship him out and get a good return for him while he is still a top 5 closer.
