I don't know what to make of this trade... we don't even need Alfonzo... our infield is already overflowing... this trade is probably a wash because neither team will see any benefits in '06.

interesting ...

so this puts the average age for the SF outfield somewhere around 45 right? ;-7

Feliz finally has a full time gig, so thats cool but I guess this means Dallas McPhearson loses his .. :-o

I hate when organizations develop a player for 5 years and then give him a one month window to show his wares in the show .. :-t

either commit to him or not ....
I guess they chose the 'not'

DMAC didn't lose his job. Alfonzo is more than likely a utility on this team. Figgins is slated as a CF on the Angels site.

Figgins seems a natural for CF ..
Either way I see Alfonzo taking AB's away from Dallas and it will hurt his roto value this year

I love this trade for us, first of all, we get rid of Edgardo who's a piece of crap, and we get a solid backup OF. I also love that it will open a up a place for Feliz to play everyday, I think that he can be a solid player if he gets his chance. Alfonzo is worthless, and Finley provides some veteran OF backup, which we will need since there will be a fair amount of games missed in that OF ;-D

Both teams got the backup they need I guess. How else can the Giants get older now? Too bad Franco was taken by the Mets... :-B

Feliz has had his chances to play everyday. The first time he couldn't handle the job. The second time he got tired by midseason. And most recently he got Larry Krueger fired.
