Dodgers GM Ned Colletti said he has enough payroll flexibility to sign a front-of-the-rotation starting pitcher, such as Jeff Weaver.
"For the right pitcher, we could do what we need to do, yes," Colletti said. "We absolutely need a pitcher, and I'd like to add two." If the Dodgers really have that much money to spend, they might prefer Kevin Millwood to Weaver

Well that makes total sense, they already got their new sluggers in Mueller and Lofton. I mean if you can get a once in a lifetime guy like Weaver you go for it.
