OK...so what is wrong with this statement?

Rotoworld:
Dodgers GM Ned Colletti said he has enough payroll flexibility to sign a front-of-the-rotation starting pitcher, such as Jeff Weaver.
"For the right pitcher, we could do what we need to do, yes," Colletti said. "We absolutely need a pitcher, and I'd like to add two." If the Dodgers really have that much money to spend, they might prefer Kevin Millwood to Weaver

Well that makes total sense, they already got their new sluggers in Mueller and Lofton. I mean if you can get a once in a lifetime guy like Weaver you go for it.

They might also prefer a bag of peanuts.

I know I would.

The fact that it said front-of-the-rotation made me laugh out loud, and I have a 101 degree fever. Bravo, Ned Colletti.

You know what sucks the most about this? If the Dodgers do really well this year, Colletti will be revered as a genius for all the signings he made. If the Dodgers play terribly, everyone will blame DePodesta for putting together most of the team.
