I got Cliff Lee for $7 going into the 2004 season.
Something is wrong if a pitcher of Lee's caliber goes for less than $10 in your league.

Good question, why is Wood up there...
Because he strikes out a massive amount of people, is on a team with an improved lineup, and I believe that the guy can have a 4-ish ERA. Add that to 13-14 wins and you have a good pitcher, in my opinion. Although I do think I have him a little high, I bumped him down to the Hudson/Myers/Sabathia type.

I think Cliff Lee's numbers will be very similar to last year... he has a chance to be very good and I could see him getting a good amount of wins again next year.

I've got him at:
15-7
210IP
160K's
3.75ERA
1.22WHIP
ERA and WHIP are pretty much the same as last year.
My predictions have him about #30-35 on my rankings and my predictions seem to be better than yours.
Jason
Ah, I think I misinterpretted his use of better in that sentence.
I think anybody getting you a WHIP of around 1.2, >150 Ks, and an ERA under 4.00 in this day and age is top 25. I haven't done my rankings yet, I was just putting it out there that he will be in my top 25.
And notice I said baseline. That's a worst case scenario for me right now. He has electric stuff. He could win 20.

For example, in my league closers are always high priced. In my league I am sure that Lee will cost less than $10 and probably closer to $6-7. We have a $260 budget.
My point (if there is one) is that you can do better than Lee for that amount of money.
lol. No way dude. No offense, but if Cliff Lee goes for 6 or 7 dollars, you need to rethink your league members because that is atrocious. I play $300 mixed anyways, 14 teams.
