Overview: This is an 18-team fantasy baseball league where players are auctioned in slow-messageboard style. The bids include yearly salary and a 1-4 year contract. There is also a minor league system based on a snake-style draft with the worst team going first. And there is a Rule 5 draft.

This is going to be a deep league. I'm aiming for 18 teams, each with a 30 man active roster, and a 10-man minor league roster. Scoring will be 6x6 ROTO with OPS/HOLDS as the extra cats.

Sounds really interesting... How soon after the league fills up will we start the auction?? Just want to get an idea of how long I have to prepare... Keep me posted... Do I just go ahead and sign up or do you want a bio first?

Only 6 spots left. I would also like at least 1 alternate. With 18 owners, I have a feeling that I will lose someone before we start the major-league auction.

Anyone can signup. I consider anyone who is thinking about fantasy baseball in the cold of winter to be qualified enough to join my league. ;-D

This is going to be rather slow-paced. A minor-league draft will start shortly, where each owner will have 24-hours to make their pick. The auction part for major-leaguers will probably take several weeks, where the auction for each player is closed at a 24-hour gap with no bids. If it drags out, I'll lower the gap.
