Sure, for fantasy ball, going to Texas wouldn't be good news for Millwood owners.
However, in real life, this would be a solid move for the Rangers to make. I'm not really a Millwood fan or believer, but he would improve our rotation.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

You do realize that the same words were being uttered by many about Chan Ho Park?
Not that I think Millwood is Park, but he is a mediocre SP that is going to cost pretty large bucks at this point.

Nah, the difference here is that people actually believed Park could come into Texas, post a 3.5 era, and anchor the staff when we signed him. Millwood won't do that, and I doubt anyone expects him to do so. If he can hold an era at 4.00 and log a bunch of innings, he will win games and help the club. I don't think anyone's really expecting anything huge out of Millwood should we sign him.

Millwood has shown through his career that he is consistantly inconsistant. After saying that, he should be able to post an ERA hopefully around 4 for Texas and would greatly improve the depth of their rotation. The only question is if Texas can afford to do it for somewhere between 9 and 11 mil a year.
