I'm always looking for more to read in the offseason, and I stumbled upon the website for the
Newberg Report. I went ahead and ordered a copy of the bound annual to give it a fair trial, and I'm blow away by it.
The book only deals with the Rangers, but being in a highly competative AL Only league with farm systems, I figure it's great reading. Newberg ranks the top 72 Rangers prospects, covers the entire system, and even breaks down a lot of the minute transcation rules for the heck of it.
Madison, any other Rangers fans, any of you guys regular readers? It's a specialty market, so it won't have the appeal BP or any of the other general winter publications will have for most Cafe members, but if you can find any reason at all to read about the Rangers, it's well worth it. Thought I'd give it a mention.
