Mixed Player Pool, 18 Teams, 27 players per team with 15 man minor league system.

The expanded minor league rosters really teach you a little more about the game. Before this specific league I knew nothing about the minors outside of the Yanks and now I know a nice amount.

I'm starting up an 18-team mixed league, 30-man roster and 10-man minor league roster. It's the deepest league that I've ever been in. It's also auction/contract based for extra reality. The link is in my sig if anyone is interested.

20 teams 27 roster spots, 21 of them active.

I loved it -- my favorite league. You really have to drill down to find some value on the wire. A lot of fun, even though there were only around 8 managers active by the end of the season.

You also have to read between the lines in cafe posts, since most are geared to standard size leagues. Someone that is an FA in a regular league may be a valuable regular in a deep league.

So much fun I'm planning on running a similar league this year, 12x12 cats.

Deepest out of ten for me is / 20 team mixed ,30 roster spots (600players), & 10 minor leaguers (200 players) for a 800 player total.

14 team AL only. You know things are sad when you are fighting over Brent Abernathy and Casey Fossum on the waiver wire, but thats what makes it fun. The lineups are more realistic and it forces you to do your homework on players. You also have to pay more attention to the minors.
