Da Vinci Code Trailer

Postby Rirruto » Sun Dec 18, 2005 6:31 pm

I just saw it before King Kong started (which was pretty good) but the trailer for DVC was pretty good as well. Here's the link if you haven't seen it:

I was a little iffy when I first heard Tom Hanks was going to be Robert Langdon but he looks like he will do a good job with it. At the end of the trailer, there will be a list of the main actors in the movie and certain letters will be highlighted. Watch out for it.

It look awesome... getting the Amelie girl to be in it was a perfect move and I just realized Ian McKlellan's in it too. Tom Hanks looks like he can pull it off because he's sort of the kind of guy I thought of when I read about Robert Langdon. By the way, how many cafe-ers have read the book? It's fantastic, although readers should always bear in mind that it's fictitious (although the basic gist of it seems perfectly plausible).

As far as King Kong trailers go... X-Men 3 looks AWESOME!

I read it 3 years back and loved it.

The movie should be great!

Although DVC was great, I still think Angels and Demons was the better of the two...just my .02 cents

Both books were awesome, though I think I'd rather see Angels & Demons made into a movie first. No biggie though; I'm sure I'll enjoy the Da Vinci Code movie anyway.

Thanks for the link.

I think there is too much stuff packed into Angels and Demons for it to be made into a movie. Plus with all the hype around DaVinci Code it will draw bigger crowds at the box office.

I agree, I liked A & D better myself. That would make an AMAZING movie if done right.

Both good books. I don't think that most people don't realize they have nothing to do with each other though. Except for Langdon. The Da Vinci Code was such a great read. I have to pick it up again.

They don't have anything to do with each other, but the way that they were written was so similar. He even started out talking about the dead body found with the markings on or around them.

I thought Angels and Demons was better, but I didn't really like Da Vinci Code that much at all. I think that Deception Point is his best.
