AFI Announces Best Films of 2005

I've seen 40 year old virgin, Crash, and History of Violence and they were all pretty good. 40 year old virgin was nothing new or spectacular, it was pretty similar to most comedies they come out with nowadays but it still had a good hand of laughs. Crash was awesome, best movie out the 3. And History of Violence was awesome at well except the ending which I didn't really like.

I agree. I thought that was the funniest movie I had seen since American Pie.

I would pay for it now but not originally. I saw a bootleg of this from some film festival back in October. It was before I knew what it was about or before it really started to receive the hoopla it's getting now. I just knew that Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal were in it and directed by Ang Lee (The Hulk). Let's just say I was surprised to find out it was about gay cowboys. But if you can get over the fact that it's a gay love story it really is a good movie: great acting and great story.
