I got an A in my Industrial Organization class!!!

I was so THRILLED that i had to tell someone!!!!

Now i can make Dean's List this semester!!! WOO HOOO!!!!!!!!!

While we're at it. I got an A in spanish. I have no idea how because I feel like I didn't learn anything.

Got a B in math (last math class ever!).

Maintained my 3.5 GPA heading into ASU.

Now all I have to do is study up and pass this stupid proficiency exam for English to get into the upper division Journalism classes at ASU.

As it turns out, i am a senior in college. i'm on the 5-year plan ( ) so i still have 2 semesters left. Kind of a long story that goes with it, but, hey, i'm still gonna be graduating in a year.

I ended up with a 79.2 in Algebra 2. I took my final today needing a 84 and ended up getting a 82.

I know how that is.... I went to my Industrial Organization class needing a 93 for the A.... got a 90. Initially, my heart sank, thinking that i had fallen short by a few points. But then the prof showed me my grade on his grade list... 89% - A.

I was wondering what was up, and i asked him if that A was for real. He said "yes, and i bumped you up due to the fact that you made very class and worked hard. You get the A."

Unbelievable! But it's merely a lesson to younger Cafe users... if you work hard, teachers/professors notice, and are more willing to work with you to improve your grade. Trust me, this is a perfect case of this.

Oh, and also, go to class.

I hear ya. I have JR status in college right now. Took me 7 semesters to do it! I work 30+ hours a week and during tax season I work 40, so those Spring semesters killed me. In order to maintain my grades I only took 9-12 units in the Spring so that's kinda why I am behind. Now I should be able to take 15 units a semester and I will do summer session so I should be done in 2 years.
