Yahoo Fantasy Baseball is now available. I will set up our league like last year. Any input on our draft (online/offline) and the timing (early/late/weekday/weekend) and what time it is in England when it is Noon in NYC will be helpful.

I don't mind how we do the draft...but if we're going to do it as a slow draft, we ought to get started fairly soon!

By the way, the draft time as it is set up right now is OK, although a little earlier the same day would be nice!

Seven of the eleven members that I've contacted have joined the league on Yahoo succesfully. For those of you who have not joined up, please e-mail me if for some reason you did not receive the e-mail with the league information or are otherwise having trouble.

So here is where we stand:

Nine of the original twelve members have completed the sign in process for the league on Yahoo. Correct me if I am wrong anyone, but we are currently missing Bimir, Danimal, and go sens. I'm not really worried about the Bimir or Danimal as I am pretty sure that they are in. At least they both say that they are. As far as I know, no one in the league has heard from or knows the whereabouts of go sens. It is a sad situation, but we may have to think about a replacement player if we have no contact from him by some arbitrary deadline in March. I have one more update that I'll place in a seperate message...

Hi All,

I know that there are a lot of interested parties who are either members or prospective members of the league. As of this moment my best guess is that expansion will not happen this year. There are currently 2 "NO" votes, 2 "I don't want to vote" votes, and 3 "YES" votes. So as of right now we have two members who don't want expansion, two members who don't feel strongly that the league should expand, and three memebers who haven't signed in to the league yet which gives us a grand total of 7 of 12 potential votes, or 6 of 11 subtracting go sens. If this changes I'll let you all know...
