Expect gas on the NJ turnpike to be 25% more expensive than anywhere else in the country.

That's funny...the main thing that strikes me whenever I go home is that gas is less expensive than everywhere else...so then I went here to look it up. And I noticed that Jersey is cheaper than every other state (except Idaho ). So, uh...what are you talking about?

Don't underestimate West Virginia. The New and Gauley Rivers alone are worth quite a bit. Though I still voted Oregon.

I totally stand corrected... I did some research, and you're right, NJ gas prices are some of the lowest in the northeast... I made my comment from my experiences on specifically the NJ Turnpike, which I paid out the ass on last year, but is considerably cheaper than most states this year. Please, accept my apology.

As for the comment about Jersey people shouldn't be pumping their own gas.... like you're not used to comments like that!

To be honest, I love Jersey... I have family in Essex Fells (near the Caldwells, Tony Sopranoville) and it's a beautiful area.
