Athletics acquired outfielder Milton Bradley and infielder Antonio Perez from the Dodgers for outfielder Andre Ethier.
As things stand now, the A's figure to use Bradley in right field, Nick Swisher at first base and Dan Johnson at DH. However, a trade of Jay Payton or Mark Kotsay can't be ruled out. The Yankees should already be on the phone with GM Billy Beane trying to acquire one of them. Our guess is that the A's will trade Payton and continue to pursue Frank Thomas or another slugger to DH. Dec. 13 - 7:43 pm et
