I am doing a little work on something not majorly 2006 fantasy baseball season related, and I need a little bit of info. And since your team decided they wanted to be the mini Yanks and Sox this offseason and spend some major league cash, I am sure yaw will be happy enough to oblige a southern American and of course a Devil Rays fan. My main question is 2 things.

1. Who is the Blue Jays 8th inning man this year??? Basically the guy yaw will call upon most of the time with a lead to get through the 8th until it is Ryan time.
2. Who is the Blue Jays lefty specialists this year??? Basically the guy yaw will call upon to get Big Papi out when Halladay is struggling in the late innings of a close game.

If yaw can answer these 2 questions for me, then I will gladly admit my loyalty to the upper North when the "mighty" Blue Jays play the Yankees this coming year. And of course I know that yaw will return that rooting when my D-Rays beat those Yankees again this year.

set up man...it would have to be speier or frasor, i'm betting on frasor. both had very good years in 05.

schoeneweis has one more year left in his contract...i believe, so he'll be the lefty specialist. last season he struggled a bit in the first half, but finished the season pitching quite well. it's uncertain what will happen to scott downs, another lefty, who did a pretty good job as a starter last year when the jays were with all those injuries in the rotation. but bet on schoeneweis to continue to be the one who will pitch to lefties late in the game.

1. Set up - if he stays with the BJs then probably Batista. He may go and may move up to the rotation in which case it would probably be Speier.

2. Schowenweiss and Downs are the only lefties in the pen besides Ryan. Downs is a spot starter/long relief guy but then again so is the other guy So......good question. Schoweneiss I would say.

8th Inning Set Up Man-Gibbons has said it will be whoever is "hot" at the moment. Eventually, I think he will decide on one or two guys to do the job, my guess would be Frasor and Speier.

well I would trade him for about anything, but the word is Maddon just very well may give Delmon the RF spot out of spring training so that puts Gathright in the minors , another team besides the drays , on our bench in the majors or worse yet as our DH ,,, but if for some reason Delmon does not break with the big league club in April then I imagine we will see Gathright in Tampa in RF a bit
