Very small sample size, and the 2 places where he has pitched the most he has the best numbers.

But you still haven't answered on that bet, what don't have faith in your Pads? }:-)

Not as much as I like:

Padres | Peavy Details
Sat, 5 Mar 2005 09:09:44 -0800

The Associated Press reports San Diego Padres SP Jake Peavy signed a four-year, $14.5 million contract. Peavy has base salaries of $750,000 this season, $2.5 million in 2006, $4.75 million in 2007 and $6 million in 2008. The Padres hold an option for 2009 at $8 million, with a $500,000 buyout. If Peavy pitches a total of 600 innings from 2005-07, his 2008 salary will increase to $6.5 million. If he pitches 200 innings from 2006-08, including 200 innings in 2008, the option would increase to $9 million. If he wins the Cy Young Award in any season, his option would be worth $11 million. There are also escalators that would add $500,000 to the option year for finishing in the top three in the Cy Young voting from 2005-08.
