I have both Matt Clement and Mark Buerle and who would be a better start for tommorows game? I was thinking Clement since he's been pitching well lately but the White Sox have been putting up some pretty good offensive numbers lately. Any suggestions?
GO GO GO!!!! GOOOOOOO MARINERS!!!!!
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~
Buehrle looked good through 3 innings, but might be imploding right now. He just gave up a 2 run shot to Moises Alou, followed by a single. 3 innings, 5 hits, 1 bb, 2 er, 1 k, so far. There's 2 on, no outs, top of the 4th right now.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Update on Buehrle: 6 innings, 7 hits, 2 bb, 3 er, 2 k's. Quality start so far. Buehrle struck out in the top of the 7th so he will stay in the game.

buerhle's worth owning if you don't spend a lot to have him. even lsat year, when he won 19 games, his WHIP was pretty high, in the 1.30 region. He just doesn't have the stuff to be a lights out kind of guy. and if he isn't getting run support, he'll be pretty mediocre this year. maybe 10-12 wins. but still, he's young, and should rebound from this, making him worth owning for the remainder of this year
i wouldn't go for either of those, dude. surely you can scrape the waiver wire for better.
oh for the start.. .well, i had a preminition about buehrle being able ot beat the cubs.. turns out i was right... still, despite buehrle pithcing better, these pitchers aren't guaranteed to rock your world. sure, if buehrle can rattle off 5 wins in a row... go for it. otherwise, i dont see either of them being big parts of a fantasy rotation for the rest of the season.
unfortunately for me, i drafted buehrle as one in 2/3 leagues, and i had to eat his 4.5 era and 1.6ish whip. not coincidentally, my ERAs in three leagues: 4.04, 3.45, 3.81. guess which two had buehrle....
I had him benched, but started him at the last minute. I waived him to remove any temptation to use him in the future.
Luckily Willis and Woody pitched well enough to soften the blow a little, and my main ERA challenger threw Lohse and Hudson out there today, and they got shelled too.
Still, if I'd have benched Clement, I'd have given myself a nice little cushion. As it is, I likely re-gain the ERA lead by a hair.
