That would be great for the Braves... They're always only a couple players away every year and if this guy is willing to go out and get players then watch out.

That would be great moves for all Braves fans as Blank seems like the type of guy that wants to win at any costs.

This would be such a great move... like someone said, it seems like we're always missing one player to make that extra push to the WS. With this farm, and Blank's willingness to spend, I think this team would be scary

Agreed. This looked suspect.

With that said.. The way Blank runs that ship with the Falcons leads me to believe he would run it the same as good ole Ted did. Although I still wish baseball would cap these rising team payrolls, alas I know it won't happen. Blank certainly would be willing to spend more than AOL/TimeWarner to bring another W.S. to Atl. I also like how Blank pushed for a huge marketing scheme for the Falcons to get a buzz going about the Falcons. Now the Falcons are always sold out. If he can do that with the Falcons, maybe he could get some of these spoiled Braves fans off there butts at home and sell out some games at the Ted. Which would be a huge boost of morale to the Braves alone. Blank has passion. He knows to let people around him run the organization. He just gives them the tools they need to flurish. Something the Braves sorely need in this day n' age where the only teams really competing are the ones that spend the big $$- cept the Phillies. Blank for owner is one I'd gladly support!

Even if this site looks to be farce. Although, he did have Smoltz signing autographs at a Home Depot grand opening down in Riverdale, Ga last week. Maybe there could be some truth to this??

OK pinch yourself cuz this dream is over. :-D
