As a Cubs fan, I am tired of hearing about the great prospects in the system but not seeing them on the field or as part of trades. With Prior and Zambrano, we have one of the top 1-2 punches in the majors, add Maddux and Hill/Williams towards the back of the rotation, the prospect of getting Wood back and A-Ram/Lee in their prime, NOW is the time to deal prospects for the bats we need.
IF (and a very big IF) Tejada were to become available, the Cubs should not hesitate to give up what it takes (within reason of course).
I don't want to hijack the thread and sorry for the venting...
