Nice originality Arkansas. Simply take another state's name and say it like you are some kind of freaking pirate. Guess what Arkansas, there are not nor have ever been any pirates in your crappy state. Pirates have more important things to do like raping and pillaging sea ports and trying on cool new eyepatches.

If you really wanted to reflect your state you should have taken some other state's name and said it like some bumbling backwater hick. Nice try to seem cool but nobody is buying it.

I gotta go with Arkansas here. Never been there, but I did drive through Kansas this summer. Kansas is the flattest, most boring state ever. There's nothing but truck stops and a max-security prison (Leavenworth). ArKansas gets my vote, only because the actual Kansas sucks more.

Kansas doesn't even have the Kansas City Royals. They have a KC, but it's not the most famous. That belongs to Mizzou. What does that say about your state, when the city named after your state is more famous in another state. Or something like that.

....tavish, your 6th grade teachers would be ashamed of you...kansas is named after the kansa indian tribe and arkansas is named after the first trading fort called arkansas post named from a quapaw indian term... arkansas was a state 25 years before kansas..kansas' origins are shameful..displaced native americans were moved there originally then in 1854 came the infamous bleeding kansas..arkansas is the natural state filled w/geographical beauty and it is the only state in the union that has DIAMONDS...brooks robinson dizzy dean AJBurnett..c'mon people arkansas is a beautiful place to live and kansas is a tornado ravaged dustbowl penitentiary
