X-mas Present for significant other

I bought the wife a dual blender/food processor. She's wanted one for a long time. Its a Cuisinart so it wasn't cheap.

Of course I recommend a level of caution to anyone considering buying any kitchen appliance/cooking item for their wife/girlfriend. My wife loves to cook so the idea of getting a blender, or some knives, or a sweet KitchenAid Mixer is awesome to her. Make sure its cool before making the purchase. Some women may take it the wrong way if you're not careful.

I'm getting her...a new bathtub! We have an old house and an old clawfoot tub that doesn't drain fast enough and gets water on the floor...it's just terrible. So I'm going to put in a new bathtub (with my dad's help) as The Big Gift. She'll love it.

LOL that's kind of funny actually.

I was thinking about getting my wife for 3 years (also 3 year anniversary on 12/29) a really nice vacuum cleaner...

Ha! That's funny as hell because that's what mine wants, only we have hardwood floors and only 2 rooms with rugs, and she never vacuums anyways. I humored her and let her show me the one she wanted...$400 . Um...I don't think so :-b

I'm j/k. She'd kill me if I did that. I bought her nice earrings.

As far as vacuum cleaners go, we got one that does hardwood floors. Only $199 at Costco and comes with a mini vac.

I haven't gotten anything yet but I have my ideas. Last year I dropped around $300 on gifts for her but I don't know if it'll be around $100 this year. I already got her one thing, but I replaced it cause she accidentaly stepped on it and broke it. She doesn't know I replaced it yet. Don't know everything else though...

Don't know if that sounds a lot or really cheap :-b ...but it's a lot of money on our income!

That's around $150 or $160 in our money, and that's not cheap in my book. And nice choice on the show, too. I'm sure she'll love it.

;-D

I got my wife a cocker pup. Seriously.

It's running around our house now. Christmas partially came on December 9th this year. I picked today to give it to her because her semester ended today, so she'll be able to be around the house to train the puppy. If I waited until Christmas, she'd only have a couple weeks before school started back up.
