OK let's hear it. What did you get and how much money did you drop for your significant other this year? Please indicate if married and how long you've been together.

Married for 5 and a half years (8 years since we first got together).
My wife's birthday is just before Christmas, so I try to do something a bit different for her Christmas prezzie.
This year, we're going to London's West End to see Les Miserables - a show she's always wanted to see. Will take her out to dinner first - probably spend around £100 in total (don't know what that is in dollars!)
Don't know if that sounds a lot or really cheap ...but it's a lot of money on our income!
Me and my fiancee (5 years together) aren't buying each other gifts separately... we're going in on a new mattress together instead. Ours is terribly lumpy
My girlfriend's b-day is this month along with christmas of course. For her b-day I bought her a $175 certificate for a half-day treatment plus lunch at a spa. I suppose it's gonna be jewelry for christmas, as she keeps hinting that's what she wants.

Married 2 months, dated 2 years, known for 5 years
I haven't gotten anything yet but I have my ideas. Last year I dropped around $300 on gifts for her but I don't know if it'll be around $100 this year. I already got her one thing, but I replaced it cause she accidentaly stepped on it and broke it. She doesn't know I replaced it yet. Don't know everything else though...
I'm getting her...a new bathtub! We have an old house and an old clawfoot tub that doesn't drain fast enough and gets water on the floor...it's just terrible. So I'm going to put in a new bathtub (with my dad's help) as The Big Gift. She'll love it.

LOL that's kind of funny actually.
I was thinking about getting my wife for 3 years (also 3 year anniversary on 12/29) a really nice vacuum cleaner...

Ha! That's funny as hell because that's what mine wants, only we have hardwood floors and only 2 rooms with rugs, and she never vacuums anyways. I humored her and let her show me the one she wanted...$400 . Um...I don't think so
