Let it snow!

I live the KC metro area, and we got 6 inches of snow, I got out yesterday as well as today! 4 day weekend!!

I live a little bit north of Toronto, and we got about 5 inches in the early morning today. School was still on, just as it always is up here...
You guys with days off today are pretty lucky, living in places that aren't prepared for 5 inches.

We're usually the last school in the area to get the day off.

You know what's funny... it seems like everyone claims THEIR school is the last to get off in the area. I've never heard anyone claim their school is always the first....

Weird.

But I'm actually telling the truth. It not abnormal for the 3 school districts within a 5 miles radius of us to be closes, while we have a normal day. Not even a delay. The worst is that they take forever to actually close the school. My bus comes at like 7:10, and they announced a delay at 6:50. Everyone was already awake, showered, and dressed.

They announced on the school site that we were off even before the 5:30 area radio broadcast started (announces school delays/closings).

I live a little bit north of NYC, and we got somewhere between 6-10 inches.

I think I liked getting 4+ hours of extra sleep the most.
