I have a funny true story to share. This thread reminded me of it.

I was over at my buddies house over Thanksgiving break. It's his parents house actually, he was just home for Thanksgiving. We are hanging out watching sports and movies debating what we should do. His mom yells from down the hall from her room asking him to come talk to her (shes in her room).

Turns out she is watching Oprah and they are discussing porn and how its addictive. How it ruins relationships and leads to people losing everything they have. Pretty much sensationalizing the topic. They were lumping the entire porn community into a small fraction of porn fans.

I can hear their conversation. The door to both rooms are open and it wasn't a private convo. She asks him, "do you look at porn." At this point I'm dying. The best part of it all is his response, " yeah I do!" He said it just like that. She then went to tell him that it's addictive and leads to people ruining their sexual lives and sometimes their own lives.

Then she asks him if he pays for it and his response was, "Hell no, you have to be an idiot to pay for porn."

I was in the other room rolling on the floor in pain because I was laughing so hard. If my mom asked me if I looked at porn I would just say no. I don't ever see her asking that even if she were curious, but if she did I would just say no and walk away.
