White Sox trade Marte to Pirates

The Sports Network reports the Pittsburgh Pirates acquired RP Damaso Marte from the Chicago White Sox for OF Rob Mackowiak.

Marte had been a pretty solid reliever for the Sox the last few years minus his 2005 second half.

The good news is since the White Sox should be getting more ESPN coverage this year, I get to hear "Mack-Wack-Tally-Wack" from Chris Berman more often

Well, at least there's one positive about the two Pirates deals...
