Again: He'll be good. I just don't think he'll be as good as everybody expects. We've already seen the best third-baseman in the world in David Wright.
Your wisemen don't know how it feels to be thick as a brick...

Can't we start a seperate thread for Marte predictions?
This one is supposed to be about Renteria......
280/350/400 with 35 doubles and 25 steals. I think he'll bat second behind Marcus, so I'm looking at 80 rbi's if both can stay healthy.

rotterdam, Renteria has never had an isoOBP that high, especially not lately.
And, I think Marte is going to become exactly like Scott Rolen. Rolen's career line of .284/.375/.515/.890 looks exactly like what I think Marte will become, with Marte probably an extra few points in SLG, and a few points less in batting average.

1 Edgar will have less pressure in Atl and is due, hopefully, for a better year than 2005.
2. Atl. park factor V Bos. park factor not in his favor.
If he leads off I think for the most part he will have more value in 2006. The above line seems like a reasonable prediction

Well concidering his career obp is .345, I don't think it's much of a reach.
