Couple of things: Morals are not opinions. Nobody needs to make decisions on what is moral since we all already know. My comment had nothing to with governments putting laws into effect to make you live morally. It has do with the moral obligations that lawmakers (or anyone in power) have. I just found the quote funny and I am sure it wasn't intended the way it came across. I certainly wasn't trying to make a moral point about porn.

Got a chuckle out of me. Nice one!
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

The following statistics, from both secular and religious sources reveal that porn is now as American as Apple Pie, and has found a place in every corner of our society, including the church.
At 12 billion a year, the revenues of the porn industry in the U.S. are bigger than the NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball combined. Worldwide porn sales are reported to be 57 billion. To put this in perspective, Microsoft, who sells the operating system used on most of the computers in the world (in addition to other software) reported sales of 36.8 billion in 2004.
60% of all website visits are sexual in nature
The No. 1 search term used at search engine sites is the word “sex”. Users searched for “sex” more than other terms such as "games," "travel," "music," "jokes," "cars," "weather," "health" and "jobs" combined. The study also found that "pornography/porno" was the fourth-most searched for subject.
Hollywood currently releases 11,000 adult movies per year – more than 20 times the mainstream movie production.
Americans rent upwards of 800 million porn videos and DVD's a year compared with 3.6 billion nonporn videos.
50% of hotel in room movie rentals are porn movies.
In March of 2002 Rick Warren’s (author of the Purpose Driven life) Pastors.com website conducted a survey on porn use of 1351 pastors: 54% of the pastors had viewed Internet pornography within the last year, and 30% of these had visited within the last 30 days.
In his book, "Men's Secret Wars", Patrick Means reveals a confidential survey of evangelical pastors and church lay leaders. Sixty-four percent of these Christian leaders confirm that they are struggling with sexual addiction or sexual compulsion including, but not limited to use of pornography, compulsive masturbation, or other secret sexual activity.
So American porn pulls in $12 billion per year, but that's only what is sold in the US. Worldwide it sells $57 billion which greatly exceeds all major sports, movie revenues and television revenues combined.
Basically what this says is that your Christian church leaders who are touting the evils and dangers of pornography (which is an exaggeration in and of itself) are more than likely using porn themselves.
It's simply a biological, human compulsion. I don't think it's damaging or evil or wrong... it just is and it's there. Porn wouldn't be made if we weren't interested in it and with how pervasive it is in our society--as well as societies around the world--it's nearly impossible to blame it for anything.

The real shame is that maybe 600 out of the 11,000 are any good.
I really should just break down and become a producer.

I guess the thing about porn is that the term "good" is relative. Are people buying porn looking for a good stories and character development? Probably not. The average person watches a pornographic movie for 12 minutes... and that includes movies in a theator or those rented from a hotel room. Basically, people watch it either to take care of themselves, or couples watch it just to get them in the mood.
I will say I've seen some good soft core on Skinamax.
