unless he made the trade today, he traded soriano, who at the time was the top 2b, AND street for pedro. lets face it, how many more years does pedro have left in him? 1 or 2? unless street falls off the map, he's an upper-teir closer and soriano should still hit in rfk, they may not be top 2b numbers, but the park wont hold him out of top 3. we know what pedro's arm is, and he's gona pitch in the WBC. who knows how much more wear his arm can take. too much of an injury risk if you ask me.

Without digging, I'd say Kinsler will definitely be up in Spring Training and have a shot at the job. I'd also say there's a very good chance Mench and/or Adrian Gonzalez get moved for pitching.
