Well, I am so glad I do not own Soriano in any of my Keeper leagues. Anyon ethat looks at his home/away splits is going to realize this is the makings of the 2006 version of Beltran.

Is everyone really THIS down on Soriano? His splits sucked in Texas, but they were great in NY. He batted over .300 each year on the road with the Yankees.

How are we supposed to know what's for real?

wow, great to know that 2B is going to be a terrific position next year. I think Utley will have a good season next year, but not a great one. I'm not touching him in the first 4 rounds personally. Second base might be one of those wait and draft in round 20 positions... Catcher is looking much better this year though (sort of unrelated, but these two positions compete for last place, and seems as if 2B is way ahead).
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

I'm pretty down on him. I think this really hurts his value badly.

its actually pretty interesting about beltran. In his year before free agency he hit around .220 at home but hit slightly better than .300 on the road so i guess that he is kind of the opposite of soriano. And the more I think about it, Soriano is still a very good player but regardless...w/the splits and leaving a unreal hitters park his numbers are sure to take a hit.

I just don't see how everyone cries wolf about his home/away splits when he hit .319 on the road in 2002 and .306 on the road in 2003.

This has to be a joke. Can't believe John Patterson isn't a part of this deal.
