Maybe because of Toronto's moves, but this? I don't think either team has much interest in this signing. Baltimore needs at least 1 arm before they can even think about contending with Ny, Bos or Tor in that division IMO. Not more offense.
If they go spend big a few big arms (Millwood, Morris?) then they will look pretty dangrous.

I dunno if they go after Millwood if what they're saying is true about his demands. Morris wouldn't be bad, but I have heard no such rumors or reports of his coming to Baltimore.

Nonsense. The Orioles need a minimum of two above average starters and at least two above average bats at 1B/OF/DH to even think about contending. For years, the Orioles have fielded the worst or next to worst offense at DH and corner OF. The weaknesses on offense are just as big as on defense.
Ok, so now the word in the Sunpapers is that the Orioles, having signed Hernandez are shopping Javy Lopez and hoping they can get somebody like Lofton, Burnitz, or Conine for him..
...this is the most clueless front office imaginable.
Broussard isn't exactly the best 1B in the world. Javy and Ortiz would definitely be better!
