XM Radio Report: Hernandez to Baltimore

Postby mikhayl » Wed Dec 07, 2005 3:24 pm

Ken Rosenthal just reported on XM that Ramon Hernandez finalized a deal with Baltimore and Javy will move over to first.

Sorry no link.

If it's legit, I like the move a lot...if Hernandez can stay healthy. If nothing, it gives Javy a chance at playing the whole season and it addresses one of the team's glaring needs: a power hitting first baseman.
Let's go O's. Let's go Mets.

I also have read this at Unofficial MLB.

Wow, what does this do for Javy's value? Now just need Pujols to catch about 10 games behind the plate next year, and the fantasy world would be all set..
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

KEVIN MILLAR could make them all look like Lou Gehrig, and he is a terrible fantasy player.
