Can anyone speculate on who the 5 starters will be come opening day?
Randy
Moose
Pavano
Chacon
Wang
Wright
Small
With Small's efforts last season will he be an every 5 starter for them, or more of a rotation b/w Chacon/Wang/Wright/Small at 4 and 5?

Yeah.
Unless a trade happens, which I don't forsee, that should be the rotation.

Aaron Small in long relief, Pavano traded.
Didn't Pavano sign some ridiculous contract? The Yankees would have to eat a decent portion of it to get rid of Pavano I would imagine. Trade would prob be unlikely.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

Yeah. We were speculating on this in the Yankees forum a couple of days ago. I think this was the general consensus. Best part about it is we have immediate long relief help in the pen, and spot starters too.

You think Wang gets shipped? Or is in the Pen? I see him shipped before Pen, and I don't really see him shipped.
